Abstract :
Free Zone is a given scope of mainland, where free trade with the rest of the world through different laws is allowed. These areas provide various incentives and exemptions in order to attract foreign investment and to use it in the production of export goods. Then, exporting these goods provide the positive effects and benefits such as job creation and export trade, economic growth, regional development, and … for country. Benefits of trade openness for developing countries together with internal reforms, is proven by experience, and the potential for further growth and poverty reduction through trade liberalization is considerable. In general, the objectives of the Free Zones can be included attracting foreign direct investment, creating jobs, expanding exports and attracting technology. Arvand Free Zone has trade, tourism, and industrial infrastructures and has privileged position compared to other regions of the country. Historically this area due to abundant fresh water, Bahmanshir, Karun and Arvand rivers, transport facilities in road, rail, sea, and air in and out of the country, having international airport, and the proximity of the neighboring countries, has unique advantages. Establishment of free trade zones in the vicinity of rural areas in the country increase the production capacity of the rural economy and thereby increase national income.
