Abstract :
This paper is devoted to the numerical analysis of the TRUNC plate element for coupled plates meeting at an arbitrary angle, in which different boundary conditions, such as clamped, natural boundary condition and rigid junction condition may appear on different parts of the boundary of coupled plates. The convergence of the TRUNC element for such a problem is established and the error estimate is derived.
