Abstract :
Thefuelassemblyisthemaincomponentin300MWePWRs,locatedinanenvironmentofhightemperature,highpressure,irradiationanderosionofthereactorcore.Whetherornotitcankeepfunctioningduringthenormaloperationofplants,especiallyundersevereaccidentssuchastheearthquakeandLOCA,willaffectdirectlythesafetyoftheNPPs.Inthispaper,byusingthegeneral-usecomputercodeANSYS,ahorizontalmodalanalysismodelandanon-linearimpactanalysismodelaswellasaverticalnon-linearimpactanalysismodelforthefuelassembliesareconstructed.Theresultsofthemodalanalysisarecomparedwiththatobtainedfromtestsandothercomputercodes.Relevantparametersinthenon-linearimpactcalculatingmodelsareselectedandadjustedbycomparingwiththeshakingtabletestdataofthefuelassemblies.Basedonthecomparisonsandadjustments,thedynamicresponsecalculationsofthe1×13horizontalimpactmodelsforQinshanandCHASNUPPundertheearthquake(SSE)andLOCAconditionsareperformedandcorrespondingresultsaregiven.TheresponsecalculationsoftheverticalimpactmodelforthreekindsofpostulatedLOCAcasesarealsoperformedandrelevantcalculatedresultsareprovided.
