Abstract
ReliabilityCenteredMaintenance(RCM)isoneofthepopularmaintenanceoptimizationmethodsaccordingtocertainkindsofpriorities.TraditionalRCMusuallyanalyzesandoptimizesthemaintenancestrategyfromtheviewpointofcomponentinsteadofthewholemaintenanceprogramimpact.ResearchpresentedinthispaperisapilotstudyusingPSAtechniquesinRCM.HowtoreflecttheeffectoncomponentunavailabilitybythemaintenanceactivitiessuchassurveillancetestingandpreventivemaintenanceinPSAmodelisdiscussedfirstly.Basedonthediscussion,amaintenancerisk–costmodelisestablishedforglobalmaintenanceoptimizationinanuclearpowerplant,andageneticalgorithm(GA)isappliedtosolvesuchamodeltogettheglobaloptimizedmaintenancestrategy.Finally,theresultgotfromasimpletestcasebasedonarisk–costmodelconsistingof10componentsispresented.
