  • Abstract
    Thesubjectoffiniteelement(FE)modelupdatinghasadvancedsignificantlyandhasemergedasausefultoolinthemodellingofstructuresparticularlyinthefieldofstructuraldynamics.However,toenhancetheconfidenceintheupdatedmodel,presentlyemphasisofresearchesistodemonstratethepredictioncapabilitiesoftheupdatedmodelincaseofanystructuralchangeinfuture.Thishasbeenshownbyseveralresearchersonthebenchmarkandonsmalllaboratoryscaledmodels.Inthepresentpaperapredictioncapabilityoftheupdatedmodelofafullscalesetupoftheperforatedtubeusedinnuclearpowerreactorispresentedasacasestudy.
