Abstract :
ThispaperdealswiththemodelingofRBMK-1500specifictransientstakingplaceatIgnalinaNPP:measurementsofvoidandfastpowerreactivitycoefficients,aswellaschangeofgraphitecoolingconditionstransient.ThesimulationofthesetransientswasperformedusingRELAP5-3DcodemodelofRBMK-1500reactor.AttheIgnalinaNPPvoidandfastpowerreactivitycoefficientsaremeasuredonaregularbasisandbasedontheobtainedexperimentalresultstheactualvaluesofthesereactivitycoefficientsaredetermined.Graphitetemperaturereactivitycoefficientattheplantisdeterminedbychanginggraphitecoolingconditionsinthereactorcavity.Thistypeoftransientisuniqueandimportantfromthepointofviewofmodelvalidationforthegapbetweenfuelchannelandthegraphitebricks.Themeasurementresults,obtainedduringthistransient,enabledtodeterminethethermalconductivitycoefficientforthisgapandtovalidatethegraphitetemperaturereactivityfeedbackmodel.TheperformedvalidationofRELAP5-3DmodelofIgnalinaNPPRBMK-1500reactorallowedtoimprovethemodel,whichinthefuturewouldbeusedforthesafetysubstantiationcalculationsofRBMK-1500reactors.
