Abstract :
Whentheoscillationperiodsoftheinstabilityoftwo-phaseflowaresoughtwithtraditionalmethodsofsignalanalysis,generallytheFouriertransformmustbeemployedandthentheoscillationperiodswillbegottenatthelocationofthelocalmaximumamplitudeoffrequencytransform.However,Fouriertransformwillbedifficulttoclearlyanalyzetheunsteadysignalsespeciallywhenthesignalsincludemanypeaksandthenoiseinterferenceisnotgeneratedbywhitenoiseinmanyareasofpracticalengineeringliketheoscillationoftheinstabilityoftwo-phaseflow.ThemosteffectivesolvingmethodforthedifficultyofFouriertransformistoanalyzethesignalsdirectlyintimedomain.Waveletanalysisisabletosearchouttheperiodsfromtimedomaindirectly.ItalsohasmoreexcellentlocalcharacteristicsthanFourieranalysisinthebothoftimeandfrequencydomains.Inthispaper,notonlyisadirectdetectingmethodoftheoscillationperiodssuccessfullyappliedbasedonthewaveletsignalextractiontechniques,butalsotheoscillationofdensitywavetypeofTYPEIisfoundasakindofoscillationswithahigh-frequencyharmonization.
