    Thehightemperatureengineeringtestreactoristhefirstblock-typeHTGRdesignedfora950°Coutletgastemperaturewhichuseslow-enricheduraniumfuelwithburnablepoisonrod.ForvalidationofthenucleardesigncodesystemfortheHTTR,acriticalassemblyofVHTRChadbeenconstructed.Thecalculationuncertaintiesofeffectivemultiplicationfactor,neutronfluxdistribution,burnablepoisonreactivityworth,andcontrolrodworth,temperaturecoefficientswereevaluated.CalculationaccuracyofaMonteCarlocodeisalsoevaluated.
