Abstract :
Thethree-dimensionalmovingparticlesemi-implicit(MPS)methodisemployedtosimulatethedepositionprocessofsingledropletontheliquidfilm.Themodelaccountsforthepresenceofinertial,gravitation,viscousandsurfacetensionandisvalidatedbycomparisonwithexperimentalresults.Theparametersofliquiddropletsandfilmarecalculatedbyaone-dimensionalmixturemodelinwhichcorrelationsandmethodsonvoidfraction,entrainmentfractionanddropletvelocityandsizedistributionareemployed.Thesimulationresultsareanalyzedtostudytheeffectofsplashonthedepositionandre-entrainmentprocessesinannular-mistflow.Itisfoundthatsplashplaysanimportantroleinthedepositionandre-entrainmentprocessesinhighqualityconditionsofBWR.
