  • Abstract
    Theinterimguidelinesfortheapplicationofinelasticanalysistodesignoffastreactorcomponentsweredeveloped.Theseguidelinesarereferredfrom“ElevatedTemperatureStructuralDesignGuideforCommercializedFastReactor(FDS)”.Thebasicpoliciesoftheguidelinesaremorerationalpredictionscomparedwithelasticanalysisapproachandaguaranteeofconservativeresultsfordesignconditions.Theguidelinesrecommendtwokindsofconstitutiveequationstoestimatestrainsconservatively.Theyalsoprovidethemethodsformodelingloadhistoriesandestimatingfatigueandcreepdamagebasedontheresultsofinelasticanalysis.Theguidelineswereappliedtotypicaldesignexamplesandtheirresultsweresummarizedasexemplarstosupportusers.
