Abstract :
Aneddycurrenttesting(ECT)probeisusedforthediagnosisofhelicalheatingtubesinstalledintheJapanesefastbreederreactor“Monju”.VibrationsoftheECTprobeoccurandmakethediagnosisdifficult.Inourpreviousstudy,severalcharacteristicsofthevibrationswereelucidatedthroughsomeexperiments,andwetooksomeempiricalcountermeasuresagainstthevibrations.Further,weshowedthatthevibrationswerecausedbyCoulombfrictionthroughsomenumericalsimulations.Inthispaper,firstly,thereturnprocessoftheECTprobeoutoftheheatingtubeisconsideredsinceonlytheinsertionprocessoftheECTprobewasconsideredinourpreviousstudy.Followingthis,theefficacyoftheproposedvibrationcountermeasuresisevaluatedbywayofnumericalsimulation.Themechanismofthevibrationandthecountermeasuresarediscussedonthebasisoftheentirebehavioroftheprobe,whichwasobtainedbyanumericalsimulation.Lastly,animprovementinthecountermeasureisproposed.Thevalidityoftheimprovementisdemonstratedthroughanumericalsimulationbothintheinsertionandthereturnprocesses.
