Abstract :
Thepresentpaperdealswithrecalculationsofsingle-phaseandtwo-phasepressurelossmeasurementswiththeadvancedtwo-phase,three-fieldsub-channelcodeF-COBRA-TF.Thereby,experimentaldataofboththeOECD/NRCBFBTbenchmarkandin-housetestsinAREVANPʹsKATHYloopareused.Themaingoalofthispaperisnottofocusonaspecialnewmodelorcorrelationbuttogiveanoverviewhowacompletepressurelosscalculationforpracticalpurposescanbecarriedoutbeingbasedonasimplifiedandstraightforwardmethodtoestimatesub-channelspacerpressurelosscoefficientsontheonehandandanadvancedsub-channelcodeontheotherhand.
Thepressurelosscoefficientsarecalculatedanalyticallyandcalibratedatavailablemeasurementsoftotalsingle-phasebundlepressureloss.Thus,theyarenotadaptedtoanytwo-phasemeasurementandalsodonotdependonthesub-channelcodetheyareusedin.
