Abstract
Aservicelifeassessmentofaprestressedconcretecontainmentisdeveloped.Linerstrainisthesolelimitstatecriterionconsidered,theLOCAaccidentsrepresenttheloadeffectsandthecreepinducedlossofprestressaffectsthetimedependentstructureresistance.Poisson,GaussianandFerryBorges–CastanhetaprocessesareadoptedforloadmodelsandtheirpredictionsarecomparedonthebackgroundofaspecificPWRinstallation.Availableexperimentaldataisusedtooptimizethetheoreticalcreeplaw.ThePoissonandFBCprocessesshownegligibledifferenceforactualpulseintensitiesandtherequiredservicelife.
