Abstract :
Traditionally,theseismicdesignbasisgroundmotionhasbeenspecifiedbynormalisedresponsespectralshapesandpeakgroundacceleration(PGA).Themeanrecurrenceinterval(MRI)usedtobecomputedforPGAonly.Thepresentworkdevelopsuniformhazardresponsespectra,i.e.,spectrahavingthesameMRIatallfrequenciesforTarapurAtomicPowerStationSite.Sensitivityoftheresultstothechangesinvariousparametershasalsobeenpresented.Theseresultsdeterminetheseismichazardatthegivensiteandtheassociateduncertainties.
