Dynamics of φ4 kinks under various perturbations Original Research Article

The dynamical behavior of kink solutions of the φ4 equation are studied for various external perturbations. We have shown that the soliton achieves a terminal velocity, which was determined by the ratio of the force field to the damping coefficient, in the presence of a constant force and damping. The dynamic polarizability of the kink is calculated.
