Uniqueness of solutions for systems of separated variable coefficient partial differential equations Original Research Article

In this paper, the uniqueness of solutions for systems of the type ωt = K(x, t)ωxx, 0 < x < p, t > 0, subject to ω(0, t) = ω(p, t) and ω(x, 0) = F(x) is studied. Here ω and F are vectors and K(x, t) = P(x)Q(t), where P(x) and Q(t) are square real matrices satisfying some additional properties.
