Finite element methods for the Stokes problem in R3 Original Research Article

We show that the mixed finite element approximation scheme with pressure stabilization for the Stokes problem in View the MathML source3 is stable for some tetrahedral elements including the Pk+1+ − Pk−1 element and the cross-grid Pk+1 − Pk−1 element, k ≥ 2.
