Similarity solutions for free convection to power-law fluids from a heated vertical plate Original Research Article

Steady, laminar free-convection boundary-layer flow of a power-law fluid over a vertical heated plate under mixed thermal boundary conditions is investigated. A transformation relating the similarity solutions of the boundary-layer velocity and temperature profiles is obtained.
