Stability of multistep Runge-Kutta methods for systems of functional-differential and functional equations Original Research Article

This paper is concerned with the stability of multistep Runge-Kutta methods applied to linear systems of functional-differential and functional equations. The adaptation of multistep Runge-Kutta methods is considered. It is proved that, under some reasonable assumptions, A-stability multistep Runge-Kutta methods can inherit the asymptotic stability of underlying linear systems.
