Abstract :
We show that the ‘centered’ Battle–Lemarié scaling function and wavelet of order nn converge in Lq(2≤q≤∞)Lq(2≤q≤∞), uniformly in particular, to the Shannon scaling function and wavelet as nn tends to infinity.
