Correlation function in the order-disorder transition on Raleigh-Bénard convection

A novel theoretical presentation is given in order to realize the order-disorder transition in Rayleigh-Bénard convection occurring when the temperature is modulated time periodically. We show that the boundary line between the stochastic and the deterministic phases can be understood as the transition to a regime where the order parameter is statistically uncorrelated in subsequent time periods. An analysis of the different time scales is remarked.
