Abstract :
In this work we apply an impact parameter analysis depending on the parton–two-fireball model (PTFM) to study the high-energy interactions of hadrons with nuclei. In this model, hadrons are considered as bundles of point-like particles (partons). Total cross-sections for proton–nucleus and pion–nucleus interactions at high energies have been calculated and compared with observations. Different parameters controlling multiparticle production of heavy particles have been calculated and compared with the corresponding experimental data.
