Instability of traveling waves of the convective–diffusive Cahn–Hilliard equation

In this paper we study the instability of the traveling waves of the convective–diffusive Cahn–Hilliard equation. We prove that it is nonlinearly unstable under H2 perturbations, for some traveling wave solution that is asymptotic to a constant as x→∞.
