Comparison of the Status of Women on Juveiniʹʹs Tarikh-e (History of World Domination) Jahangosha and Khaghaniʹʹs Divan

ABSTRACT: Juveiniʹs Tarikh-e Jahangosha is one of the very instrumental books in Mongolian era in which he pens not only about the Mongulsʹ circumstances but also the adventures and events of Kharazmid, and little about the Ayyubid and Fatimid. Without a doubt, Tarikh-e Jahangosha is one of the primary sources and the very rich text on the status of women in Mongolian time. This research shows the position of women in Mongolian and Ghaznavid. Khaghani is one of the poets that cannot easily be judged on how he views women. A number of his poems are seen as positive and complimentary about women. He also in number of them offers a seditious and wicked feature of women and criticizes them. In this research, the effort is to comprehend the role of women and the ideal image of a womanʹs place in the belief of the two poets. And pointing out some issues we realize their perspective on women.
