Analytic study on the one and two spatial dimensional potential KdV equations

Analytic study is conducted on the (1 + 1) and (2 + 1) dimensional potential KdV equations. The work rests mainly on new ansatze that involve two hyperbolic functions. A set of new solitons, kinks, and periodic solutions is formally established.
