Influence of the 5D0 nucleon-Δ channel on the 1S0 nucleon-nucleon phase shift in a quark model

The influence of the 5D0 Nucleon-Δ channel on the 1S0 nucleon-nucleon phase shift is studied as a coupled channel problem in the framework of the Resonating Group Method Group using the quark cluster model with chiral symmetry. Additional attraction is generated in the 1S0 nucleon-nucleon interaction by the coupling to the 5D0 (NΔ) channel.
