A search for the ξ(2235) in pp → π−π+

We present results of a search for the narrow ξ(2235) in the pp → π−π+ channel. The search is carried out using an amplitude analysis of all the high statistics data currently available in the pion channel. No convincing evidence for a narrow state is observed.
