Production of φ as a potential probe for QGP formation

We examine the variation of the ratio φ(ϱ + ω) either with the energy density or with the baryon density and we propose that it can serve as a potential signature for the QGP formation. The variation of this ratio with the baryon density can further be used to distinguish between the hadronic models available for describing the dynamics of the relativistic heavy-ion collision e.g. thermal hadron gas model and cascade model.
