Abstract :
Conditions under which there arise hidden supersymmetries, in models in N = 1 supersymmetric quantum mechanics whose only dynamical variables are fermions, are determined. Amongst the models which meet these conditions is a class of models which, perhaps surprisingly, possess N = 2 supersymmetry. The direct construction of these by N = 2 superfield methods is also described. A simple model with three Dirac fermions constructed so as to illustrate these matters and other possibilities, turns out to do so in a good variety of ways.
