Hindrance factors in alpha and cluster radioactivity of 233U

Within the one level R-matrix approach several hindrance factors for the radioactive decay of 233U with emission of 4He, 24Ne and 28Mg atomic nuclei are calculated. It is shown that, bu properly taking into account the structure of the internal wave functions, good agreement with experimental data for the 4He decay is obtained. Predictions for the 28Mg and 24Ne cluster radioactivities are made and the surprisingly small experimental branching ratio between these two cluster emissions is explained.
