Abstract :
We modify the method of Huet and Nelson for calculating CP-violating sources that drive baryogenesis. The interactions of the relevant particles with the plasma are described by the inclusion of the damping rate in the Dirac equation. We find a new contribution that does not come from interference of different paths, but instead comes entirely from the path without interactions with the wall. This is due to the CP-violating matching of eigenstates of the axial charge at different space points at the wall. In the adiabatic limit this contribution is one order larger than the contributions coming from paths that include interactions with the wall.
