Self-affine analysis of multiparticle production in pp collisions at 400 GeV/c with continuously varying scale

A self-affine analysis of multiparticle production in pp collisions at 400 GeV/c was performed by using the method of continuously varying scale. Comparing with the results obtained from self-similar analysis, the self-affine analysis shows a better power-law behavior. The fractality in multiparticle production is self-affine rather than self-similar.
