Abstract :
We study the properties of dynamically expanding nuclear matter. For this purpose, we apply quantum molecular dynamics (QMD) model to homogeneously expanding three-dimensional system with periodic boundary condition. Simulation is performed for given initial temperatures and expanding velocities. The calculated fragment mass distribution for slow expansion obeys the power law predicted by Fisherʹs droplet model, while that for rapid expansion exhibits the exponential shape.
