The role of σ-meson in ω→ππγ decays and the coupling constant g

We study the ω→ππγ decays by adding to the amplitude calculated within the framework of chiral perturbation theory and vector meson dominance the amplitude of σ-meson intermediate state. We estimate the coupling constant gωσγ utilizing the experimental value of the ω→π0π0γ decay rate.
