Abstract :
An analysis of Crystal Barrel data on p̄p→ωπ0 is presented in the mass range 1960–2410 MeV. There is a strong and well defined I=1, JPC=3+− resonance with mass and width (M, Γ) (2025±15, 107±20) MeV. The partial wave analysis finds further resonances with the following masses and widths: JPC=4−− (2240±25, 190±50), JPC=2−− (2240±55, 330±60), and JPC=1+− (1960±40, 210±80) MeV. There is a further definite contribution from a 3+− state with mass ∼2245 MeV, but its mass and width are poorly determined. A contribution is observed from ρ3(1985), whose mass and width is better determined elsewhere. There is a strong low mass contribution to JPC=1−−, consistent with the earlier observation of ρ1(2000).
