Abstract :
According to the mass loss of the autumn leaves in the parks of big cities such as Isfahan and non-production of devices like leaf vacuum shredder for this purpose, it is needed to design and manufacture some machinery for each region. In this paper Shredder blades as the main part of the devise was designed according to the software analyzing by Abaqus. For analyzing, shearing strength of common leaves in Isfahan city was measured. With considering amount of 85Kpa as shearing strength of leaves as the load on the blade in the software and selecting stainless steel AISI 304 as the material of the shredder blades, the results(stress contours for the blade) was obtained. Results showed that the maximum stress on blade is 3.081MPa and so regarding to yield point of AISI 304, the blade has not been entered on plastic phase and design is without any problem.
