Remarks on the article “Norm inequalities which yield inclusions for Euler sequence spaces”

The combinatorial identities and norm inequalities in a recent article [1] in this journal are reinterpreted and their proofs simplified by recasting them in a classical context. It is also shown that the classical methods are in general more powerful than those in [1] when applied to any Hausdorff mean.
