Rate of approximation by a new sequence of linear positive operators

In the present paper, we study the rate of pointwise approximation by a new sequence of linear positive operators for functions of bounded variation. To prove the main result, we have used some results of probability theory. In the end, we also introduce the Bezier variant of these newly introduced sequences of linear positive operators.
