Jacobi matrix differential equation, polynomial solutions, and their properties

In this paper, Jacobi matrix polynomials are introduced, starting from the hypergeometric matrix function. The differential equation satisfied by them is presented. A Rodriguesʹ formula, orthogonality, and a three terms matrix recurrence relationship are then developed for Jacobi matrix polynomials.
