Abstract :
We develop a mathematical theory of compressible, viscous, and heat conducting fluids based on the concept of weak solutions and the second law of thermodynamics. We derive suitable a priori estimates and show the weak sequential stability property for the complete Navier–Stokes–Fourier system.
