Long and Intermediate Time Regimes in Diffusion-Limited Reactions with Imper feet Trapping

We study a mode1 for the A + B -+ B one dimensional diffusion-reaction system, where the reaction sites are modelled by a markovian stochastic process. Exact results for “dilute” as well as approximate ones for “dense” B systems habe been obtained for the mean values of the A particle density. These results havebeen compared with numerical simulations, showing good agreement in the short, intermediate and long time regimes.
