Aperiodic (‘chaotic’) behaviour of plant cell wall extension—II periodic and aperiodic oscillations of the elongation rate of a system of plant cells

Mung bean hypocotyl segments display oscillations of their growth rate. These oscillations may be approximately periodic, with a period ranging between 4 and 8 minutes, or aperiodic. These results are perfectly in line with the theoretical predictions of the accompanying paper.
