  • Abstract
PCB auto-insertion line, as assembling several types of boards in sequential processes, have the characteristics of a typical flexible flow-type line (FFL). One of the critical problems in controlling a FFL lies in how to cope with job interruptions caused by rush orders, machine breakdown, shortage of materials, and improper fixture or pallets. But, because the traditional process-oriented approach has been viewed as single purpose, this approach to the modelling of dynamic behaviors against random accidents is expensive, time consuming, and of limited value. Therefore, we establish a real-time PCB process control system based on obhject-oriented approach which enhances the software utilization and real-time controlling characteristics.
