Navigating the internet for engineering information

The vast amount of information available on the Internet in practically any subject is growing at a very fast rate. Engineering information on the Internet is expanding as more people become aware of its resources and feel comfortable using it. However, managing this vast information is difficult without using the proper tools. This paper discusses and explores some of the tools that have evolved for ‘navigating’ the Internet and its resources and also to find and to use selected engineering information.
