A study on cargo forwarding decisions

The study aims at the modeling and analysis of an air-freight forwarderʹs container selection and cargo loading decisions. Mixed integer programming model is used to formulate and solve the problem. Our model solution have revealed interesting features of the problem that can be used to improve the forwarderʹs operation.
