SATORC: A system analysis tool for reengineering complex systems

Reengineering of complex manufacturing systems depends in part on the availability of experts who have well defined and articulated mental models of specific problems and how to solve them. In this research, a knowledge-based reengineering model is developed. The model is applied to maintenance problem solving at Miller Brewing Company in Eden plant, North Carolina.
