A computer simulation of human perception of color

Mathematical models are presented which allow one to determine the amount of color perceived by the eye. Known as color vision receotivity index (CVRI), variations in contrast intensity, receptive frequency factor, and the densities of the transmission media are used as the predictive variables. Using the CVRI model, it is shown that under constant receptive frequency factor, CVRI only depends on the n-power differences of contrast intensities.
