Analytic Process of Resource : A practical approach for scheduling

In this paper, a new approach, Analytic Process of Resource (APR), is proposed to deal with the complex production scheduling problems. It decomposes a complex process into a series of simple ones, and focuses the problem-solving process on the decision points in them. A multiobjective linear combined priority model is introduced to make decisions in the problem-solving process, and an application of APR to an FMS scheduling problem is presented.
