  • Abstract
    Due totheproblemofglobalwarming,thegreensupplychainmanagement,inparticular,closed-loop logistics, hasdrawntheattentionofresearchers.Althoughtherewerelogisticsmodelsthatwereexam- ined intheliteratures,mostofthemwerecasebasedandnotinaclosed-loop.Therefore,theylacked generality andcouldnotservethepurposesofrecycling,reuseandrecoveryrequiredinagreensupply chain. Inthisstudy,theintegrationofforwardandreverselogisticswasinvestigated,andageneralized closed-loop modelforthelogisticsplanningwasproposedbyformulatingacycliclogisticsnetwork problem intoanintegerlinearprogrammingmodel.Moreover,thedecisionsforselectingtheplacesof manufactories, distributioncenters,anddismantlerswiththerespectiveoperationunitsweresupported with theminimumcost.Arevisedspanning-treebasedgeneticalgorithmwasalsodevelopedbyusing determinant encodingrepresentationforsolvingthisNPmodel.Numericalexperimentswerepresented, and theresultsshowedthattheproposedmodelandalgorithmswereabletosupportthelogisticdeci- sions inaclosed-loopsupplychainefficientlyandaccurately. Statement ofscopeandpurposes This studyconcernswithoperationsof3R in thegreensupplychain logistics andthelocationselectionoptimization.Basedon`cradletocradleʹprincipleofagreenproduct, a “closed-loop”structureofanetworkwasproposedinordertointegratetheenvironmentalissuesinto a traditionallogisticsystem.DuetoNP-hardnatureofthemodel,aGeneticAlgorithm,whichisbased on spanningtreestructurewasdeveloped.Testproblemsfromthesmallsizeforaccuracytothelarge scale forefficiencyhavebeendemonstratedwithcomparison.Thepromisingresultshaveshownthe applicability oftheproposedmodelwiththesolutionprocedure.
