    In thisarticle,weproposeaLagrangiansmoothingalgorithmforquadraticassignmentproblems,where the continuationsubproblemsaresolvedbythetruncatedFrank–Wolfealgorithm.Weestablish practical stoppingcriteriaandshowthealgorithmfinitelyterminatesataKKTpointofacontinuation subproblem. Thequalityofthereturnedsolutionisstudiedindetail.Finally,limitednumericalresults are provided.
